The Hollywood Reporter’s 4th Annual New York Power Broker Awards took place in an intimate ceremony presented by The SOCIETY Group, the PR purveyors of power brokers and properties, and sponsored by the AD100-honored full-suite furnishing firm Ash Staging in a private members club in New York City. The evening was hosted by the stars of Netflix’s “Selling The City,” Eleonora Srugo and Steve Gold who announced this year’s winners of all seven categories.
A trio played softly as agents hugged each other and took photos together in the portrait studio while enjoying canapés like tuna tartare nori cones and wagyu beef sliders and gossiping about closing. The award ceremony opened with jokes about tariffs, reality shows, and deals. Carl Gambino, who won for Celebrity Property Portfolio, gave a heartfelt speech about his love for New York, while John Gomes and Fredrik Eklund, who won for Penthouse Sale of the Year, joked about Fredrik doing nothing and John negotiating the entire deal. After the ceremony, the winners gathered together in the portrait studio to take photos with each other.
