Ruinart Champagne and New Museum hosted a celebratory dinner at the burgeoning Canal Street Arts District, developed by Wallplay, a member of the museum’s incubator, NEW INC. Wallplay spearheaded the transformation of 22 vacant retail spaces into an arts district for emerging creatives.
Fashion, art, and tech innovators joined Ruinart Champagne, the first established Champagne House, to honor these creatives and NEW INC.
Attendees included artist Zoe Buckman, landscape designer Lily Kwong, model Cipriana Quann, photographer Terry Gates, musician TK Quann, designer TimoWeiland, curator Nicola Vassell, artist Shantell Martin, NEW INC founder Karen Wong and artist Alexandra Bell, among many others. As they enjoyed Ruinart’s beloved Blanc de Blancs and Rosé Champagnes, as well as the newly released Dom Ruinart 2007, they explored the current exhibits across the arts district.
