Gloria Steinem hosted an intimate gathering at her historic home on the Upper East Side featuring renowned artists and rising change-makers. In collaboration with ILY2 and The Shift, a soon-to-launch impact platform celebrating women of excellence, this special event brought together influential guests across fashion, innovation, art, and entertainment for a thought-provoking conversation on the power of storytelling and the arts.
Key guests included Anna Weyant, Suleika Jaoud, Cathy Yan, and jewelry designer Shilpa Yarlagadda, with the conversation moderated by activist Saad Amer, founder of Justice Environment.
The femme-focused ILY2 Gallery curated a selection of art to accompany the conversation, which showcased two represented artists, Bonnie Lucas and Leena Similu, in conversation with the ILY2 Director Jeanine Jablonski. They were joined by fellow ILY2 artist Melanie Flood, who was also in attendance.
Food and fashion collided with a crafted cake by Yip Studios and beautiful edible displays courtesy of BySaison. Beverages by Alchemiq Catering paid homage to Gloria’s legacy, with curated cocktail and mocktail selections. In a tribute to porcelain craftsmanship, all displays were plated on Ginori 1735's Oriente Italiano collection.
