Lalique, the iconic crystal house internationally revered as the epitome of French luxury, celebrated the launch of its new immersive lifestyle flagship, Maison d’Artiste. Taking residence in the historic Chopard Mansion. The five-story townhome, once the private residence of Diana Ross, will serve as a global destination for visitors to dive into the myriad world of Lalique.
Owner and Executive Chairman of Lalique Group, Silvio Denz, along with Lalique’s Artistic and Creative Director, Marc Larminaux, welcomed an exclusive array of press, celebrities, designers, industry figures, and VIP customers to get a firsthand look at the townhouse and enjoy activations throughout the four customer-facing floors of the space.
The evening's guests included Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Jean-Baptiste Maillard, Andrew Kwon, Kim Shui, Natalie Lim Suarez, Brendan Fallis, Julia Chafe, Corey Damen Jenkins, Sophie Lou Jacobsen, JiaJia Fei, Lindsay Weiss, Serena Goh, Igee Okafor, Jacqueline Terrebonne, Ingrid Abramovitch, Sean Santiago, Melissa Feldman, Rachel Felder, Catherine DiPersico, Chris Ellis, Hannah Martin, Danny Seo, and Michael Musto.
Throughout the townhouse, guests were activated at every turn. Noun NY created live illustrations for guests that featured iconic Lalique pieces, while Abbode embroidered custom cocktail napkins with the brand’s classic motifs. The event’s culinary experience was curated by longtime partner and collector Chef Daniel Boulud, with libations including an assortment of Vignobles Silvio Denz wines and The Glenturret spirits, the vineyards and Scottish distillery owned by the brand, respectively. Additionally, Solid Wiggles created custom gelatin designs inspired by Lalique’s rich jewelry-making heritage, while Yip.Studio provided custom cakes, evoking various facets of the brand’s latest collections. Lastly, guests were invited to explore Véranda de Sens, Lalique’s dedicated fragrance salon, which showcases its multi-awarded scents with a customized fragrance discovery experience hosted by Marjon Carlos, the award-winning journalist and podcast host. Throughout the evening, guests explored the various levels of the townhouse, with enchanting discoveries around every corner.
