During Paris Fashion Week, La DoubleJ Founder JJ Martin and MOTHER Co-founders Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding celebrated the launch of the Ciao Mamma! collaboration in association with NET-A-PORTER.
The eclectic spirit shared by both brands took over the historic La Fontaine Gaillon for the evening, where 70’s inspired archival prints featured in the collection popped throughout the decor. DJ Mary Charteris, decked out in a collaboration embroidered denim jeans and vest set, kept guests dancing with a mix of retro Italian disco and French pop.
Bright florals in La DoubleJ vases from the brand’s celebrated houseware line decked the walls while custom napkins and decals served as an ideal backdrop. In between shows and parties, guests mingled, toasting with California-inspired tequila cocktails featuring Ciao Mamma! ice cubes.
Guests including NET-A-PORTER’s ad interim CEO and President Alison Loehnis, Dianna Agron, Joan Smalls, Bambi Northwood-Blyth, and Lena Mahfouf spilled out onto the greenery-filled terrace posing outside around the Italian fountain while wearing designs from the upcoming collaboration, featuring whimsical prints and MOTHER’s vintage-inspired patches on denim.
