Nearly 850 guests attended the Frick’s annual Spring Garden Party for Fellows and Young Fellows. As the evening began, guests (dressed in all manner of floral attire; fabulous hats and fresh flowers as accents on both men and women was a trend) congregated in the historic Fifth Avenue Garden, which is only accessible on this single night of the year. Partygoers enjoyed Gin & Tonic and Martini cocktails courtesy of Sipsmith London Dry Gin, accompanied by a tempting variety of seasonally inspired hors d’oeuvres provide by Creative Edge Parties, while being entertained by the music of noted jazz quartet The Flail.
As the sun set over Fifth Avenue, partygoers moved inside for dancing in the Music Room, or a walk through the atmospheric permanent collection galleries and special exhibitions. They also had the opportunity to visit the rarely seen second floor of the former Frick mansion, which was also open on this special evening.
