Founder Rajiv Menon hosted a private cocktail reception and afterparty for the opening of his much anticipated namesake gallery in Hollywood this past Saturday, Feb 15–bringing together over 400 guests to celebrate the arrival of South Asian contemporary art and culture in the heart of LA.
The crowd included a who’s who mix of rising stars and established figures across art, media, food, Hollywood, music, business and fashion–with notable attendees including: Influencer Tinx, power couple Radhi Devlukia and Jay Shetty; Hollywood Mega-Manager (Ryan Reynolds, Scarlett Johansson,) Harley Neuman; Gallerist Thomas Kelly; Artists and Oscar nominees Suchitra Mattai and Adam Graves; Restaurateur (Baar Baar LA) Sheena Vira; Restaurateur (Badmaash); Nakul Mahendro; Founder of Cuyana Shilpa Shah; Hollywood creative executive/producer and co-founder of Hillman Grad with Lena Waithe Rishi Rajani; Kynah Founder and fashion designer Aisha Rawji; Actor (Mindy Kaling’s Never Have I Ever) Anirudh Pisharody, Actor/filmmaker (Queen of My Dreams) Fawzia Mirza, R&B artist/singer, Leo Kalyan; climate activist and writer Aditi Mayer; actor/director Satya Bhabha, Drag Queen LaWhore Vagistan and artist Kareem Khubchandani, Emmy-award winning producer (Citizen Queen) Shams Ahmed –among others beloved creative directors, founders, artists and collectors. Multiple participating artists were also in attendance, including rising art world stars Raghav Babbar, Bhasha Chakrabarti, Shyama Golden, Joya Mukerjee Logue, and Anoushka Mirchandani.
The cocktail reception was followed by an afterparty at the private Silverlake residence of Hollywood creative executive/producer and co-founder of Hillman Grad with Lena Waithe, Rishi Rajani.
