Saks Fifth Avenue marked the start of New York Fashion Week with a star-studded celebration hosted by Saks Global President & Chief Commercial Officer, Emily Essner, at the newly opened New York hotspot, Crane Club Restaurant. The can’t-miss event of the season featured a show-stopping performance by Caroline Polachek, in between sets by French DJ duo Brice and Regis Abby, aka Doppelganger Paris. Saks has long been known for bringing together the most influential names in luxury at its fashion week event, setting the tone for the upcoming fashion shows and trend reveals. A fashionable crowd of celebrities, designers, industry leaders and VIP friends of Saks gathered for an unforgettable evening of exquisite dining, captivating entertainment and lively celebration.

Caroline Polachek captivated the crowd with a live performance, singing a selection of her top hits including Bunny Is A Rider, Sunset, and So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings. Polachek walked the red carpet in a full look from Saks, including a Maison Margiela midi-skirt, an Issey Miyake chiffon blouse and Neous leather boots, styled with diamond bracelets from the Saks Fifth Avenue High Jewelry collection. During her performance, she wore a Kiki de Montparnasse silk chiffon dress and Jimmy Choo lace-up leather pumps, available now on Saks.com. Doppelganger Paris amplified the vibrant atmosphere with energizing tracks, while guests danced the night away.
Crane Club’s opulent dining room, lined with floor-to-ceiling burgundy velvet drapes, set the scene while guests enjoyed an array of passed canapés, caviar, pasta bowls and a raw bar brimming with fresh seafood. Saks’ signature champagne tower was complemented by an equally Instagrammable martini tower, creating the perfect backdrop for fashion’s finest to gather and capture photos throughout the evening.
Late-night indulgences closed out the evening with decadent desserts, pizza served in custom Saks pizza boxes andSaks to-go meals, complete with french fries and Saks branded soda cans.
