Managerial:
· Manage social media junior staff
· Report to Senior Account Manager/Assistant Vice President/Senior Vice President/Executive Vice President
· Manage/oversee multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously
Social Media Activity:
· Maintain and enhance relationships with online influencers and identify opportunities to engage and cross-promote
· Oversee coordination of controlled social media activities (editorial calendar development/vendor coordination/client reporting/budget management)
· Implement social media strategy initiatives, including project management and planning, vendor management, and cross-team collaboration and organization
· Review social media platforms and editorial calendars on a daily basis and provide feedback to junior staff, based upon consistency, brand voice and uniqueness
· Develop and implement new digital strategies for clients
· Oversee multimedia content production and develop case-by-case storytelling strategies that determine media, format, dissemination channels
· Develop interfaces and other original collaboration and social tools for clients
· Work closely with traditional teams to multipurpose content and to determine and carry out strategic dissemination plans
· Recommend and hire freelance and contract staff in multimedia production, digital design, social marketing, and web services
· Track developments in the social space and provides value related to industry trends (e.g., relevant platforms, listening software, mobile, social advertising, measurement, content strategy, search/SEO)
· Utilize and interpret digital planning and analytics tools, including Sysomos, Facebook Insights, HootSuite, Wildfire Monitor, GoogleAnalytics
· Design digital assets and social media platforms using Adobe Creative Suite, Heyo, Involver, NorthSocial and ShortStack
Client Relations:
· Serve as main client contact; provide strategic counsel and recommendations
· Engage with clients to identify specific business goals, key challenges, actionable solutions, innovative opportunities and consumer needs
· Review client-facing call/meeting agendas/recaps/social media materials
· Write, assemble and distribute internal and external communication and digital strategy material
· Ensure objectives, goals and metrics are being met by monitoring effective benchmarks, and measuring the impact of social media programs
Business Planning/New Business:
· Contribute to the development and research of PR plans/proposals for both current clients and new business
· Develop, implement and manage strategic, high-level social media relations and corporate communication plans for clients
· Participate in PR plan/new business presentations
