BSC is seeking an experienced Social Media – Community Manager with 2+ years of experience to join our agency in the New York office. In this position, candidate will handle day to day management of client social media accounts as well as Brandstyle’s internal social media.

Candidate should have digital savvy with an exceptional and natural affinity for social media. Candidate should be able to effectively and seamlessly adapt a brand’s social persona, and actively go out within an online community to connect/relate with new and existing followers/fans and advocate on behalf of the brand. Candidate should have relevant experience in listening and evaluating brand perception, planning and executing campaigns and drafting promotional material, copy & content, across all new and emerging social networks and platforms. Candidate must be highly proficient in creating online social media communities as well as growing and maintaining those communities.

Essential duties:

Create client social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc)

Grow and management client social media communities

Engage with Brandstyle client customers/followers to promote brand

Engage with Brandstyle customers/followers to promote brand

Create engaging content to distribute via social media on behalf of BSC and BSC clients (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc)

Create and Maintain client blogs

Identify, create and manage influencer programs

Maintain ambassador networks

Brainstorm fresh ideas for social media campaigns

Work with VP of Social Media to create and maintain social media branding and tone

Requirements:

At least 2+ years of experience in Community Management

Bachelor’s degree – Preference of degrees in Marketing, English, and/or Communications

Excellent writing and interpersonal skills

Proficient in creating written, visual and video content

Knowledge of video editing

Positive attitude

Diligent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to multitask

Proficient in MS Office, Keynote, Google Calendar, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, and other social media platforms
