Primary Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Coordination of Luxury Marketing courses at Columbia Business School, Parsons School of Design, Hong Kong School of Business & Management, and Instituto de Empresa Business School in Madrid, Spain: LEF offers one of a kind, marketing courses to business & design school students across the globe who wish to have hands on experience working with the top high end, luxury brands.

• Coordinate, oversee, execute and take general responsibility for all communication with LEF’s partner companies in the luxury field relating to these courses (the Masterclass and Block Weeks): Communicate directly with LEF’s partner companies’ senior management: securing participation in the classes
• Develop projects’ research
• Secure senior level executive guest speakers and other high profile participants
• Ensure that all logistics and interactions with companies’ high-level executives, project leaders and staff run smoothly, securing dates / times for meetings, setting up companies’ presentations, coordinating company/student meetings
• Coordinate, oversee, execute and responsibility for all communication with Academic Institutions that host LEF’s Masterclasses and Block Weeks: Work closely with faculty and staff from Columbia Business School, Parsons, and other educational partners, to develop academic calendars, secure classrooms, adhere to deadlines for syllabus/course description and organize all required materials
• Communicate with relevant students’ clubs (such as Retail Luxury Goods Club at Columbia Business School, and Luxury Society at Parsons) to maximize student participation Assist in selecting and briefing a TA for these courses, brief/assist TAs in their tasks: overseeing project(s) being a liaison between students and companies, ensuring that all course deadlines are met, reviewing student applications, assemble teams
• Prepare and coordinate communication and all documents relating to these classes: Assist president in teaching duties relating to these classes: Do research and update presentations, reading and other teaching materials update all schedules and documents coordinate with TAs that classes run smoothly
• Support MBA and design student participants involved in educational programs              

Special Events (including Luxury Round Table, Final Presentations, Conversation Series, Alumni Networking Event etc.), Media / Social Media and other Program Coordination

• Work closely with Program Director and President in coordinating details for exclusive, VIP special events: Select venues amongst luxury partners, working with vendors, etc. Create and circulating invitations, posters, and all social media content
• Ensure all logistical event details and help Program Director execute Oversee RSVP list, manage attendance of high profile guests, event follow up
• Work closely with Program Director and PR agency in getting maximum media coverage
• Work closely with Program Director, Alumni Council and President in implementing social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook & LinkedIn.
• Work with the Program Director in all events / programs within the necessary delivery dates and budget requirements, and office management within the high standards of excellence: Communication with and between LEF contacts internally and externally including high-level company executives
• Cultivate external relationships and sponsorship prospects relating to fundraising / development
• Promotion of LEF programs, PR and marketing efforts including social media planning
• Organizational duties: manage calendar, contacts database, meeting coordination, website updates, etc. Coordinate logistics for off-site and on-site meetings  

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills
• Experience in planning and managing events, including volunteers
• Experience in VIP client relationships
• Experience in academic institutions is a plus
• Comfortable in a small working environment while dealing with large corporations
• Understanding website design and maintenance
• Very comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
• Marketing and Research skills
• Excellent computer skills: strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (majority of work requires email communication and computer applications)  
• Compensation commensurate to experience and responsibilities. Must be authorized to work in the US.
