Description:
Role purpose: Will be responsible for developing and implementing the communication strategy in North America.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a strong network of media and influencer contacts in the US
Manage US PR agency and serve as the primary contact
Work closely with US PR agency in order to develop the YOOX presence in the market and define localized communication plans based on the global communication strategy
Ensure that YOOX is represented appropriately and consistently across all communication channels
Develop and cultivate relationships and collaborations with local influencers to increase brand awareness
Establish strong internal relationships with the HQ PR & Communication team as well as cross-function relationships with branding, buying, merchandising and marketing teams to facilitate program development and execution
Support HQ stories and concepts and help to make them relevant for US market
Be the voice and the expert of the US market
Propose special projects, collaborations, initiatives.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer and fashion PR/communication in North America
Good understanding of the luxury fashion industry
Strong network of media, blogger and influencer contacts
