PURPLE VIP is hiring interns for the current semester! VIP is a small team working across all departments at PURPLE, such as fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and events. VIP is the department for you if you are interested in working in fashion PR and celebrity/influencer relations
Interns must be based in NY, able to receive school credit and work minimum 2-3 days a week, flexible schedule.
Please Note: This is an unpaid internship for college credit and is part of a training program.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is interested in the field of luxury fashion public relations.
You should be a dedicated, multi-tasked, and proactive candidate who is enthusiastic, works well within a small team and has an interest in luxury PR. Previous experience is preferred and understanding of the industry is vital. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
Instructive responsibilities may include:·
- Proactively monitoring all media, print, digital and social channels for brand coverage·
- Analyze outcomes and create reports summarizing results·
- Celebrity styling pulls and gifting across multiple brand platforms·
- Understanding and monitoring media landscape across digital, print and broadcast·
- Facilitate the smooth running of the day-to-day function of each account team providing support as requested and required·
- Responsible for managing product deliveries/placements/samples in a timely manner
- Compile and manage media lists, event rsvp lists, and organizing image/artwork.
- Learning how to draft pitches and story angles in a proficient and effective approach
Outside of working with many industry leading luxury brands, our internship offers school credit and free travel to and from work.
