We are a fully integrated team that specializes in brand evolution and we are looking for an expert in consumer lifestyle brands to join our team in the role of Public Relations Director in our New York Office. You Are:

A PR pro with 8+ years of agency experience developing and executing public relations strategies for national consumer products and CPG accounts

A proven and poised leader who can manage a team as well as a portfolio of high-profile accounts

A creative thinker with strong decision making skills

A curious person who can sniff out the big stories

An insightful person who loves to cultivate client relationships and wants to contribute to a close-knit, supportive team culture

Someone with wealth of longstanding editorial relationships with national consumer lifestyle and business media

An entrepreneurial-minded person who is proactive, reliable, and resourceful with the ability to independently manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously

You Will:

Provide strategic public relations counsel to a range of clients in the consumer lifestyle/food/grocery space

Develop and establish a trusted relationship with clients

Develop strategic communications plans that support strategic press initiatives for a variety of clients

Proactively identify, create, pitch and follow up on media opportunities to garner national and regional earned media coverage that meets client goals

Create communications materials including brand strategies, press releases, media messages and analysis

Prepare spokespeople for media interviews through the development of messaging and talking points, and in-depth media training when required

Manage project and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously

Manage direct reports, including mentoring, consistently providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews

Requirements:

8+ years of agency experience developing and executing public relations strategies for national consumer products

Ability to provide essential support for press initiatives including media and client management, and strategy development

Experience presenting strategies and plans to executives

Experience managing direct reports
