We seek a Senior Event Producer to supervise and coordinate all aspects of events from conception to execution. The primary responsibilities are developing ideas and concepts for an event, developing executable plans, overseeing operations, managing project timelines, directing staff, and coordinating technical and production teams. This person will also manage budgets to ensure financial profitability and bring value to our clients.
We are seeking an individual who is a self starter, creative thinker, eager problem solver, and multitasks well. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in an event agency environment, will have a positive, can-do attitude, and will be able to manage multiple projects at different phases simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities:
Work day to day with our clients to transform concepts into DLP’s most unique brand experiences including: Special events, sponsorship activations, dinners, pop up stores, product launches, and corporate meetings
Interface with clients to extract their goals and objectives and properly meet expectations
Build, manage and execute project budgets ranging from $250K - $2.5M+
Maintain set profit margins across all projects
Develop and managing project timelines and to keep our vendors accountable
Collaborate with our creative team on event design, including décor, floral and scenic
Coordinate production schedules, permits, and logistics
Source and supervise contracts with venues and vendors including outreach for multiple competitive quotes
Prepare event documents, including production schedules, production books, and packing manifests
Manage purchase order process and payment of vendors through DLP accounting
Act as primary lead for on-site execution from load-in through load-out
Effectively analyze and implement project needs and problem solving solutions
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
5-10 years of proven event production experience required
Strong project management skills with proven ability to lead teams
2-3 years of management or supervisory experience
Client focus with attention to detail, flexibility and accountability for results
Leadership and coaching skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Extraordinary organizational skills, self-motivation and intuition
Thrive in a fast paced, agency environment
Excellent computer skills Microsoft and Apple applications, team project software, social media sites
Thorough understanding of permitting standards (Including but not limited to TPA, Special Event, Fire, Health & Safety, Building & Safety, Noise, etc.) and ability to successfully manage production timelines and needs as related to permit procurement
Ability to effectively manage tasks across multiple projects/various clients at the same time
