Battalion is looking to hire a seasoned Account Executive to work on a range of luxury/fashion/lifestyle clients. This candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of PR experience, preferably within an agency environment. Experience within the jewelry category is preferred, but consideration will be given to experience within fashion/accessories. A genuine interest in luxury, fashion and culture is required, and the candidate must be a strong communicator and possess attention to detail, along with energy and enthusiasm.

Job Description:
- Work with senior management to develop annual communication programs
- Leverage current media relationships and cultivate new contacts
- Draft media alerts, press releases, backgrounders and other press materials
- Craft and distribute pitches to appropriate editorial contacts and secure placements
- Manage photo shoots and products loans and assist with stylist outreach/celebrity dressing
- Plan and organize special events
- Develop and manage tastemaker campaigns
- Supervise Junior Account Executive and interns
- Organized self-starter with ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid knowledge of jewelry/accessories media landscape (print and digital) and existing editorial relationships
- Proven project management skills
- Social media savvy
- Positive attitude, discreet and professional manner
- Knowledge of industry events, trends and culture
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
