REPORTS TO: VP, Digital Marketing & Social Strategy

The Coordinator’s main function on the Digital/Social Team is a generalist that has the benefit of partnering with the entire team gaining valuable experience in all areas of Social Media, that can inform what trajectory or path is the best fit for you in the future. An authentic love-for & understanding-of Social Media – as well as Attention to Detail are the vital for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

-SOCIAL PLATFORMS & TOOLS: Maintains a familiarity with each social platform, like Business Manager in Facebook, as well as getting trained to be our power user of all key Tools the Social Team utilizes (currently Sprinklr, LaunchMetrics, etc)

-CONTENT: Supports the Social Content Manager in processing approved Content Calendars for DKNY & all applicable brands, from uploading & tagging the assets in the DAM, to scheduling the posts for stakeholder final approval in the tool before posts get published – ensuring all necessary post tagging as well. (including Product Tagging on platforms directly after posts go live).

-COMMUNITY: Supports the Social Community Manager in the tool workflows around Comments & Messages, tagging all inbound (e.g. positive/negative/neutral), and routing selected comments/messages that need follow-up, to the appropriate partner (e.g. E-comm Customer Service)

-REPORTING: Partner with any applicable agency & internal partners on all things Reporting-related, from ensuring the tools are set up pre-launch to properly track any & all campaigns/programs, to tagging outbound posts, to assessing the performance reporting generated from the various tools, and partnering with teammates in identifying any learnings and optimizations to future content strategies or calendar implications.

INFLUENCER

-GENERAL: Maintains a general knowledge of fashion & lifestyle influencers, and influencer marketing in general. And Partners with the larger team in keeping an ongoing eye out for potential new creative collaborators for programs & content creation, maintaining lists of potential & activated talent, as well as talent management & influencer agencies.

-SEEDING PROGRAMS: Partners with Digital teammates & the larger division on all Product Seeding strategies for DKNY & select other brands, spanning both gifting & paid, from seasonal key items to special programs & capsules (e.g. Pride, X-collaboration), typically fully managing in-house, other times utilizing external agency support for scaling larger programs.

-For in-house executions, the Coordinator supports the Community Manager in any assistance needed around pre-launch logistics (contracts, send-outs, etc), to monitoring-for & capturing posts, and logging performance for comparison to help team know who works well for our brands vs. not.

ADMINISTRATIVE

-Maintains a knowledge of all current campaigns, shoots, retail events, website schedules & general projects, for DKNY & other brands, being available to support where the team needs. (e.g. submitting jobs to the studio’s project toolWorkzone)

-Partners with the 2 Managers in what social content gets pulled onto the E-commerce website & then executes.

-Adds UTM tagging parameters & handles Bitly’ing any & all applicable links.

-Keeps the Digital area of the server organized and up-to-date with all necessary filing & organizing for the team.

-Assists the team in maintaining various lists and databases/repositories for agencies, creatives, influencers, etc.

Requirements:

-2+ years of social media marketing experience

-Bachelor's degree preferred in related area

-A digital native, who harbors an authentic love for social media & desire to work on it in a professional capacity

-Solid understanding of all key social platforms

-Strong multi-tasking skills being able to progress multiple projects for multiple brands forward at same time

-Excellent oral & written communications skills

-General interest & excitement about fashion/lifestyle marketing
