Description:

H&S is in search of a strategic, creative and culturally connected Manager, Influencer Marketing and Partnerships for its Brand Engagement team. 

Our full-service brand innovation practice is designed to build captivating, scalable, creative and engaging communities made of some of the world’s most notable diverse talent and celebrity partners, visual storytellers, content creators, local industry leaders and influential partners. 

The ideal candidate will be digital-savvy and have proven experience in influencer marketing and talent relations programs. The role will report to the Vice President of Brand Engagement, playing an integral role in the development of award-winning, thumb stopping and engaging consumer marketing programs across the agency’s roster of clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a brand communications leader, you will:

- Be a proactive and strong communicator with a problem-solving attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize programs and meet deadlines.

- Advise clients on short and long-term strategy, set goals, manage expectations, set timelines and manage deliverables.

- Concept and develop creative paid and organic social media and influencer marketing strategies for execution across paid, owned, earned and social media platforms for consumer, food and beverage, fitness and wellness, fashion and lifestyle, travel and hospitality, spirits and technology brands.

- Remain abreast of consumer marketing trends and generate original ideas that can be amplified through influencer marketing and socially driven partnerships.

- Handle day-to-day management of influencer marketing campaigns including: research, influencer identification and outreach; develop targets and leverage tools to build a pipeline of new influencers and cultivate the current H&S community of influencers; lead in the ideation and development of creative content briefs; book talent and celebrities for events; ead and manage contracting and influencer content management; analyze, measure, report on influencer performance, provide data-driven guidance on audience and content metrics. 

- Oversee the development of short and long form video content within a digital, media publisher or public relations agency setting.

- Foster existing and maintain high-touch relationships with talent and influencers across varying levels of influence (content creators, nano, micro, and macro) to secure consistent, on-brand messaging.

- Build authentic relationships and work closely with talent and influencer managers, agents, stylists and assistants.

- Manage earned product seeding programs with a history of securing organic results that includes partnering with affiliate marketing teams, gifting, creative mailer production and database management.

- Remain abreast of the changing social, digital and cultural landscape – execute influencer campaigns across online and social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch and ClubHouse).

- Drive efficient performance that is tracked daily, weekly and monthly; as well as analytical and ROI-driven approach to reporting on influencer program progress and challenges.

- Maintain a regular reporting schedule on outreach funnel and budget spend vs. growth and ROI targets (e.g., number of people contacted, in progress, closed, budget allocation month-to-date vs. target spend)

- Participate in new business meetings, draft proposals and pitch alongside senior leadership.

- Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring quantity and breadth of coverage.

- Work within in an integrated marketing mix, as needed, on planning and execution of digital, influencer and talent programs.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or a related field.

- Minimum of five (5) years of digital and influencer marketing experience.

- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional marketing disciplines and agencies (e.g., paid media agency, advertising agency).

- Thrive in a diverse environment and contribute to overall H&S culture.

- Passionate about visual story and truth telling, with a natural curiosity for digital, social and influencer marketing – helping to bring campaigns to life across owned and social channels.

- Ability to take surface consumer insights and identify trends.

- Knowledge of pop culture and strong interest in entertainment, fashion, spirits, travel, hospitality, film, or television.

- Strong writing and communications skills.

- Design and presentation abilities (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote and Adobe Suite).

- Interest in photography, videography, programming or other creative mediums.

- Takes initiative and demonstrates flexibility when priorities shift.

- Experience within the spirits, fashion, entertainment and travel industries highly preferred.

** In the wake of COVID-19, all positions are currently remote. We hope to have this person work onsite in our NYC office once offices resume opening (pending the safety protocols in place surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak).
