An Account Executive at CURICH|WEISS is an entrepreneurial and eager self-starter with impeccable organizational skills, attention to detail, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

An Account Executive serves as a day-to-day contact for clients and is responsible to execute assigned elements of PR programming (target media relationships, brand campaigns and initiatives, regular client communication) and account management (administrative needs) to deliver exceptional service and impactful results. 

The Account Executive reports to Account Manager or higher.

Specific Responsibilities

Strategy:

- Participate in strategic planning for clients, as part of annual planning cycles (“the plan”) and on ongoing basis (proactive / reactive opportunities, campaigns and initiatives)

- Work closely with leadership on strategic development 

- Align with leadership to provide strategic counsel to clients

Execution:

- Execute day-to-day public relations plan including delivery of assigned elements of plans and ongoing media relations

- Deliver agreed upon programs for clients, including but not limited to ongoing media relations, event planning, influencer engagement, strategic partnerships, et al.

- Regularly secure target media placements for clients

- Draft and finalize all materials required for the successful delivery of results (i.e. press releases, bios, Q&As, target lists, etc.) securing necessary approvals and sharing with appropriate team and partners

- Develop and maintain relationships with media, influencers and organizations on behalf of clients and Agency – regularly entertaining target contacts

- Update and maintain media lists as needed

- Share client clips and manage client reporting (monthly reports, recaps, etc.)

Leadership / Management:

- Lead assigned programs to successful results

- Identify opportunities for professional growth

Client Management:

- Serve as day-to-day client contact

- Regularly share news and updates with clients, including competitor monitoring and FYI articles

- Plan and manage client meetings

Requirements:

- BA/BS Degree is required

- Minimum two years of experience on either the agency or client side, with demonstrated success (impactful placements and feature coverage) across all channels

- Strong media relationships (lifestyle and general consumer media) on both a national and regional level

- Exceptional interpersonal, networking, and verbal and written communications skills

- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
