Description:

The Brand Guild — a full-service agency to top consumer and commercial real estate brands — is looking for a driven Strategy Manager to expand its growing strategy and planning capabilities. At The Brand Guild, we craft and tell the stories of some of the nation’s best-known purpose-driven brands like Sweetgreen, The Bouqs, and Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey. We are a fully integrated agency that specializes in brand evolution.

The Strategy Manager will work closely with the Senior Director of Strategy to create and support strategy and planning initiatives for our clients and The Brand Guild itself. The Strategy Team assesses what our clients need to establish and amplify their brands — then we develop tools and materials like competitor research, trend reports, roadmaps & editorial calendars, brand architectures, campaigns and other tactics to meet those goals, often collaborating with other departments.

The Strategy Manager will focus on research and analysis that our team synthesizes into actionable deliverables for our clients. S/he will have the chance to see behind the scenes of national consumer brands, as well as impact the growth of an innovative full-service agency. Our ideal candidate is someone who is motivated by a mix of entrepreneurial and editorial interests, and will share our passion for our success, our prospective clients’ successes, and a unique chance to drive the agency forward.

Initially remote, this position would eventually be based in our New York office.

- Research brands, their competitors, and their consumers on both micro and macro levels for use in proposals, client materials, and TBG content

- Compile and analyze market research and data to inform trend reports and brand architecture projects

- Synthesize research into larger trends and themes that The Brand Guild and our clients can act on for growth and success

- Write — efficiently and often — across client-facing materials, published thought leadership content, internal materials and presentations, and more

- Gather client insights from TBG account teams, TBG-produced executive roundtables and events, as well as contribute to and help manage publication of our quarterly trend reports (like The Brand Guild’s recent State of Brand report)

- Assist with The Brand Guild thought leadership efforts, including supporting key executives at external events, penning op-eds, and more

- Excellent writing and editing skillsAbility to meet deadlines

- Project management skills that allow management of multiple projects at once, including evolving timelines and priorities
