Description:

The Talent and Partnerships Lead is responsible for managing the operational and talent buying/management machine that drives our business with Target and other clients. With multiple consultancy offerings happening at the same time - from insights to news, strategy, casting, talent valuations, campaign management and talent acquisition, your role is to ensure that you are fully up to date and connected on industry happenings, and responsible for the operational health of the business unit. Ensuring it runs on budget, on time, with excellence, and that the projects* is kept intimately updated on news, trends and movements in the talent industry.

Further, you are expected to be an ambassador for the projects*, ensuring that the business is widely known and highly respected in the talent industry. 

Talent & Partnership Responsibilities:

-Be responsible for outreach, negotiation, contracting and renewals for all talent in the Target business, and with non-Target work where relevant 

-Work collaboratively with  Influencer Relationship managers  (“Editors”) to achieve outstanding relationships and budget efficiencies with talent relationship management 

-Find revenue optimisation opportunities within talent contracting and agency relationships and other operational areas

-Keep up to date with talent representation rosters, rates, significant and upcoming agents/managers, industry trends, changes in policy etc and ensure key stakeholders are aware of learnings. Share learnings on a monthly basis. A report to be shared with the projects* SLT 

-Represent the projects* and build/add to your exceptional ‘black book’ of contacts at talent industry events: Webinars, virtual and IRL conferences, industry gatherings etc

Requirements:

Qualifications:

-Strong verbal communication and writing skills in both written and email. 

-Excellent client management skills which inspires confidence and trust from clients.

-Strong knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets with the ability to produce key metrics using a variety of data points.

-Excellent talent management and procurement abilities

-Ability to analyze the talent marketplace and provide a POV on cost, rates, and potential innovations. 

-Maintain key relationships with talent agencies, management companies, content producers and publishers

-Understanding of contracts and ability to simplify complex legal documents for stakeholders

-Keen eye for detail and optimization opportunities for the projects* and clients

-Working knowledge of financial management and time tracking tools (e.g.Workflow Max, Receipt Bank)

-Knowledge of cultural and influence landscape with the ability to provide a credible POV on trends and casting
