Description:

We are actively looking for an Account Coordinator to join our Short Form Media team in our Carlsbad, CA office. S/he will work directly with the Account Executive in supporting our clients’ direct response TV (DRTV) marketing campaigns.

The Account Coordinator is responsible for the following, but not limited to: preparing client communications, assisting the Account Executive with strategic planning for Short Form DRTV clients with ROI and/or audience delivery goals in mind, delivery of timely performance reports, generating and justifying media proposals, and supporting our media buyers throughout the media development process.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

-Support the Account Executive to ensure daily tasks are completed in an efficient and quality manner

-Identify, document, and communicate client needs, goals, and expectations to team and parties involved

-Attend weekly client calls with Account Executive and assist with preparation of all materials needed for client calls

-Daily review of media performance to ensure clients’ KPI’s (key performance indicators) are being met

-Assist Account Executive with the planning and management of client budgets

-Daily interaction with buyers to obtain station rates and negotiate future media bookings

-Daily interaction with buyers and media assistants to ensure media is airing at the times and rates requested by the Account Executive and agreed to by the buyer

-Plan effective media schedules using historical client data, syndicated research tools, target demographic info and competitor analysis

-Prepare client presentations and custom reports using PowerPoint, Excel, or other tools

-Regularly communicate on work assignments, reporting challenges to the attention of the client services manager

-Other assignments as delegated

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPointStrong written and verbal communication skills; effective communicator using client appropriate language

-Capable of multitasking and possesses strong prioritization skills

-Self-motivated; inquisitive, proactive & strong initiative (learns/ask questions, applies, grows)

-Ability to work well in a collaborative environment as well as individually

-Detailed oriented, well organized and able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

-Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Media, Business or related field of study

-Interest in developing skills around the following: media buying, traffic, data operations, invoicing, sourcing, and analytics; direct experience a plus

-Knowledge with various reporting systems and analysis tools desired, but not required
