Description:

The Account Executive is the glue to the account team and is instrumental in effectively implementing PR and communication plans on behalf of designated clients. Energy and passion are key, as well as a drive and hunger to learn to deliver the best service possible. 

Requirements:

 1) Client Servicing: 

• Work with the intern to ensure daily coverage is scanned and circulated to the wider teams and client as a priority first thing 

• Effectively collate all best of press and results ahead of monthly client meetings and calls in a timely manner 

• Liaise with team to compile weekly/monthly client coverage reports, with the responsibility of sending over at the end of each week 

• Attend client meetings as necessary, ensuring that everything has been prepared accordingly for senior members of the team 

• Build strong and trusted working relationships with client teams, offering general client counsel for day-to-day press office activities 

2) Relationships building:

• Keep up to date with the industry and growing your own base of contacts with Press and Influencers via attending press appointments on a regular basis, resulting in strong coverage across all brands. 

• Assist SAE/AM on day to day account matters to ensure effective running of the press office 

• Manage the relationship of external supplier and press 

• Demonstrate a positive and proactive approach to all working matters 

3) Proposals & Creativity: 

• Compile creative press materials, with the correct brand tone of voice as and when needed.

• E-blasts to be created and circulated to target titles each month to maintain brand relevance 

• Work with press to develop creative ideas and relevant feature angles on top of pitching in NPD for product placement 

•Work with team on ideas for creative mailers before building proposal for client approval 

• Assist with the activation and execution of upcoming brand events, offering strong support to all team members 

4) Financial : 

• Create and manage budget planner 

• Oversee team company card’s expenses via the intern 

• Effectively liaise with suppliers on agreed activation costs prior to raising purchase orders and before requesting invoice 

5) Integration: 

• Organise and participate in internal brainstorming sessions as required by wider Beauty Seen teams 

• Liaise with Operations Executive on stock arrivals and event assets prior to arrival 

• Communicate with other AEs, ensuring full knowledge across all brands 

• Volunteer to support other teams on other brand activity/new business pitches 

• Demonstrate positive contribution to the overall team – beyond your day-to-day client work 

6) Leadership: 

• Manage intern development ensuring balanced experience across all areas of PR; reporting, creative writing, stock management, events where suitable 

• Follow correct appraisal process, ensuring each intern gains the best possible experience during their placement 

• Assist in intern recruitment and hiring process
