The Virtue Project is a female-owned consultancy that helps brands and non-profits drive social change. We've honed our brand marketing and communication skills during our time with big and boutique agencies alike, in service of some of the world's biggest brands, and are now applying our expertise to drive consumer behavior towards social change and in support of cause-marketing efforts that build advocacy and activism. Our client base is a unique amalgamation of innovative organizations and individuals who are making the world a better place.

We are currently looking for an ambitious Los Angeles based intern to support the operations of the business through general administration and hands-on marketing activities.  In addition to your time spent in office (2-3 days per week), you will have the opportunity to participate in a number of client events and impact-focused initiatives. 

Responsibilities:

-Manage database of opportunities and prospective clients

-Use of multi-media/design skills to create impactful presentations

-Potential to support with social media content development and/or community management

-Work off-site at client special events (check-in, red carpet support etc.)

-Develop and update media lists and vendor partner lists

-Assist with gift bags (sourcing, compiling), product mailers and other administrative duties

-Support the creative process to build strategic plans and presentations for clients

Requirements:

-Exceptional interpersonal, communication, writing and organizational skills required

-Passion for social enterprises and cause marketing

-Strong work ethic

-Background in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields

Internship is unpaid however if you are currently in college, you can earn credit. This is a six month internship with potential for extension. The approximate dates of this internship are March 2020 – August 2020.
