-Develop and execute communication strategies and conduct press outreach to appropriately position a range of home/design and lifestyle brands in the marketplace
-Liaise with the Founder | President and Senior Vice President on all new business activities, including participation in initial meetings/conversations, proposal development and onboarding
-Lead day-to-day strategic conversations with clients with the support of the senior leadership team
-Implement client strategies to secure top-tier media opportunities, including feature, profile and business stories in home and design, fashion (men’s and women’s), accessories, lifestyle, business and consumer outlets as well as speaking engagements; sponsorship opportunities; award submissions
-Oversee and manage the team on all daily tasks related to press opportunities, influencer partnerships, event logistics, media monitoring, etc.
-Manage Account Executive and PR Coordinator positions
-Minimum eight years of experience at a PR agency preferred
-Relationships with print/digital editors, writers and influencers in the home/design, lifestyle and business categories on a national and regional level a plus
-Exceptional interpersonal, networking and verbal and written communications skills
-Proactive and collaborative with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
-Excellent writing skills with attention to detail
-Entrepreneurial spirit with an interest in growing the agency’s client roster
-Focus on new business procurement and support
-Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
-Knowledge of tools such as Cision a plus
