Description:

The Digital Marketing Specialist reports into the Digital Marketing Manager and will be a key contributor driving sales via email, site content and promotion setup, collaborating with the Marketing, Merchandising, Creative, Quality Assurance, Analytics and IT teams to deliver promotional support for omni channel initiatives. This role will be point person to support the daily execution of marketing and trigger emails, online promotion setup, implementation and tracking results of emails and promotions.

As The Digital Marketing Specialist, You Will:

-Support and communicate promotions through omni-channels; through email, on site, and full line Saks Fifth Avenue Stores, ensuring cohesive messaging throughout.

-Management of email reviewing, including timely completion of Creative Briefs, collaborating with Creative and internal teams on content, obtaining timely approvals on email content from Leadership and working with quality assurance teams to test email assets.

-Work closely with ESP to plan and launch daily emails and A/B tests. Help manage vendor relationship with Cheetahmail – Saks.com’s email vendor of record.

-Analyze trends, performance and effectiveness of emails, push, SMS, and promotional content, making thoughtful recommendations to management for future execution.

-Proactively resolve problems and roadblocks in order to keep work flow on schedule and escalate higher level conflicts to manager for resolution.

-Collaborate with Loyalty teams to develop program execution, features and functionality that support business initiatives, campaigns and promotions.

-Partner with store managers across all Saks Fifth Avenue stores to develop and implement marketing plans to support priority events, public appearances and collection launches

-Develop automated email triggers based on site and app activity and/or customer preferences by partnering with the Analytics team and external vendors

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university (Business or marketing degree preferred, Digital commerce experience preferred but not required)

-Minumum 1-2 years of marketing experience

-Careful attention to detail without sacrificing deadlines

-Fluency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

-The ability to analyze large amounts of data into key insights in a timely fashion and communicate results in an organized and concise way

-Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a corporate work environment with multiple stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must

-Cheerful, can-do attitude
