At White Oak Communications, our Event Interns work closely with our Experiential Marketing + Events team to support all client accounts. We work with clients in the food and beverage, real estate, and hospitality industries on a variety of events and partnership opportunities including festivals, launch parties, sponsorships, and brand activations. Candidates should possess a desire to establish and grow their experiential marketing knowledge as well as event management skills.
Strong candidates will demonstrate interest in event coordination and a desire to learn about the industry, ability to research, ability to work independently, and strong organization skills. We are looking for someone with natural charisma and excellent interpersonal skills, and who possesses a passion for the hospitality and event industry.
-Assistance with event coordination, including gathering details, drafting call sheets, and event recaps for festivals, launch events, and activations
-Managing client updates
-Research relevant and local companies for possible partnerships and activations
-Continuously updating all client documents
-Maintain and update event contact lists and event calendar
-Possible onsite assistance at events
-Understanding of the basic principles of event management
-Must know how to use Microsoft Office
-Must be able to receive college credit for internship
-Previous event or marketing internship experience is a plus
