Yohji Yamamoto Inc. marks a significant milestone with the debut of the brand’s first-ever West Coast residency, hosted at the illustrious Just One Eye in Los Angeles. The residency, a harmonious blend of art, fashion, and innovation, underscores Yamamoto’s enduring legacy as a pioneer in avant-garde design.

This collaboration celebrates the visionary craftsmanship that has solidified Yohji Yamamoto as a global luminary in contemporary fashion.
To celebrate this exclusive launch, Yohji Yamamoto and Just One Eye hosted a private event, drawing a curated mix of industry tastemakers, artists and creatives, cultural influencers and friends of the brand, including Alanna Gold, Amanda Steele, Anastasia Soare, Charlene Roxborough, Courtney Mawhor, Eric Archibald, Eric Buterbaugh, Jessie Mesa, Kyle Smith, Kyle Hjelmeseth, Lydia Campanelli, Madison Amateau, Nick Wooster, Paola Russo, Ray Azoulay, Rodney Wallace, Sarah Gorden, Stephanie Liu Hjelmeseth, Simon Rex, Valentina Bilbao, and more.

Yohji Yamamoto Inc.’s dedicated concept space within Just One Eye features LED panels installed throughout to project Yohji Yamamoto’s world view as an artistic wallpaper. Starting with a monochrome work of Yohji Yamamoto and Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME A/W 2023-24 collections by TAKAY, a photographer who has been capturing the world of Yohji Yamamoto in recent years, that were shown at the opening. Additionally, Just One Eye is equipped with branded beacons to provide an omni-channel functionality.
Following the opening of the brand’s boutique “Yohji Yamamoto New York Wooster” in 2023, this special residency at Just One Eye is an invitation to experience the Yohji Yamamoto world on the West Coast.
