Aahaasa Collection has announced the opening of Aadya Tea Bungalows, completing its curated circuit of luxury retreats across Sri Lanka’s mountains, coast, and tea country. Originally an abandoned 200-acre tea estate, the project involved a decade-long regeneration and masterplan, including private bungalow residences, forming an exclusive community. Aadya Tea Bungalows by Aahaasa now welcomes guests to ten standalone private luxury bungalows defined by low-density serenity and a connection to place that reflects the Aahaasa ethos.

Set within a rehabilitated 200-acre working tea estate near Hatton, Aadya Tea Bungalows rests on land restored over more than a decade. The project revived soil, replanted endemic species, enhanced biodiversity, and created employment for nearby communities. Bordering the UNESCO-listed Sri Pada Peak Wilderness Sanctuary, the estate features rolling tea fields, a private nine-hole golf course, three waterfalls, walking tracks, and kayaking.

Each of the ten private bungalows is reserved for a single party, offering seclusion and personalization. Contemporary interiors honor the landscape, with expansive verandas, solid teak floors, and climate-attuned fabrics balancing modern comfort with cultural resonance.
